Job Description
• Manage a team of frontline BD team; build a successful team, develop and coach them for the current and future performance.
• Provide effective coaching on management and closure of deals with allocated clients owned by the BD team.
• Regularly review forecast, pipeline and sales strategies with management. Ensures that opportunities and leads are pursued in a timely way.
• Ensures that sales operating plan is consistent with overall business goals and sales pipeline is filled with opportunities at various stages of sales cycle.
• Perform competitive analysis in market segments to identify areas of differentiation or areas of opportunities for improvement in the form of enhancements to existing services, new services or new marketing collateral.
• Understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develop sales strategies to respond effectively.
• Develop valuable solutions and support building strategic partnerships with clients.
• Develop and maintain sales operating plans that include opportunity map, target accounts, forecast, sales strategies and tactics, resource requirements and strategic commercial plan.
• Identifies sales leads through established networks.
• Develop and lead midsize and large deals (> 1cr).
• Maintains high-level of customer loyalty and builds trust and integrity.
• Actively engages the senior company executives to build strategic relationships with the customer which ensure long-term business opportunities for the company.
• Drives independently customer proposal, Solution Selling, Go to Market strategies.
• Keep abreast with industry happenings and derive opportunities out of those.
• Develops proposal strategies and partnering with prospects.
• Manages client expectations and balances the needs of the company and the client to ensure satisfaction for both.
• Influences decisions and engage at the executive level (Relationship Management).
• Maintain connect with all vendor.
• Improve offer to order commission ratio.
• Recruit team member as & when requirement arises in consultation with management.
• Attend relevant trade shows / seminars/ Exhibition.
• Be active on linkedin promoting company posts.
• Ensure training for all team members.
• Regularly achieving monthly / Quarterly/ Half yearly/ Annual sales & Revenue Targets. 60cr Order Booking, 50cr revenue.
• Attend weekly review meeting, X- Matrix Meeting & sales review meetings.
• Visiting atleast 10 new Customer (OEM, End user, Contractors) a month & guiding team on Targeted accounts.
• Ensuring Customer calls, needs, requests are met in timely fashion with quality.
• Maintaining ISO.
• Update CRM & Present report to Management.
• Ensuring all offers are sent on time.
• Co-ordination with internal Teams ( Design, QC, Production, etc.,) to meet needs of customer.
• Timely collection of all payments by speaking to all customer.
• Close Co-ordination with all partners Mitsubishi, schneider, L&T, Rockwell & achieving partners targets set by principals.
• Take customer feedback regularly & Update to management from time to time.
• Ensure Target bottomline of company is maintained.
• Fix yearly/ Monthly/ weekly/ Daily targets to self & team members.
• Help all team members achieve individual target.
• Keep list of all customers & Contact them in regular frequency.
• Send action plan to management on how targets are going to be achieved if there is lag.
• Plan, guide team members & self for customer visits.
• To Send weekly Plan & Report to the Management on time.
