Business Development Executive / Assistant Manager – Sales

Role Objective
The BDE / Assistant Manager of Sales is responsible for the full sales lifecycle—from hunting for new prospects and market analysis to closing deals and ensuring seamless post-sales collection. Your mission is to drive revenue while maintaining the high standards of customer satisfaction that define our reputation.
Core Responsibilities
Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive market and competitor analysis to identify new prospecting opportunities.
Sales Execution: Deliver high-impact product presentations, provide technical quotations, and relentlessly follow up to convert leads into orders.
End-to-End Account Management: Handle order processing, invoicing, and the submission of invoices to ensure timely delivery.
Financial Stewardship: Take full ownership of payment collections, including tracking retention money, managing bank guarantees, and reconciling accounts with the Head Office.
Customer Advocacy: Act as the bridge between the client and our service teams to ensure post-sales satisfaction and resolve any escalations.
Strategic Reporting: Maintain rigorous weekly and monthly reporting on sales activities, prospects, and targets.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills (Requirements):
Educational Background: B.E. / B.Tech (0–5 years experience), Diploma in EE/ECE (0–5 years experience), or an MBA (0–3 years experience).
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of ERP systems (SAP preferred), MS Office, and professional email etiquette.
Financial Literacy: Ability to manage debtors, understand invoicing cycles, and handle complex collection scenarios (Bank Guarantees, Bounced Cheques).
Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver formal presentations to stakeholders.
